I have a friend of mine that’s a miner in West Virginia and has been one for more than 20 years. While hundreds of feet under the ground, he told me that he created a side dish… from one of the minerals down there. He explained that because he is so far in the heart of the earth, it won’t spoil because the temperature keeps it refrigerated. I wish him the best, but I doubt if anyone wants to consume his cold coal cole slaw.
