I can still remember the first time I ever saw some penguins in the wild when I went on a trip to Alaska. I was looking at them from a boat as they were swimming to the shore. I only saw the top of them because the rest of their bodies were submerged, and they looked like they were about a foot tall. But after they got on land, I was amazed to see that they were nearly five feet tall. I guess this proves that initial impressions can be deceptive, since the penguin’s heads was just the tip of the ice bird.
