When Moses discovered that he was a Hebrew, he began to spy on Ramses to see if he had also been informed of his secret heritage. He pounded a small nail in the door of Ramses meeting room, removed it, and looked through the small opening anytime people gathered there. When Ramses found out, he immediately had the door removed and confiscated. Moses was extremely angry wanting them back, and approached Ramses using his slightly modified phrase, “let my peep hole go!”
