I have a Christian friend of mine that told me he planned on going to New York City to see a play. After reviewing the four gospels, I told him that in the 7th chapter of Matthew, Jesus prohibited him from taking such a trip. I explained that our Lord and Savior specifically said in the 13th verse, for us to enter through the narrow gate instead of the broad way. He then said he planned on praying for me during his entire flight, but he didn’t tell me why.
