I was talking on the phone to a childhood friend of mine that I haven’t seen for decades. He was telling me that he and his wife lost their jobs, and haven’t worked for months. While he was looking out of a window at his home, he said he saw someone hooking his car up to a tow truck. When I asked him who it was, he said “that’s the repo man, because we po’ man!” He still doesn’t have a sense of humor, because he hung up on me after I started laughing uncontrollably. Yeah, whatever.
