The platypus, found exclusively in Australia and Tasmania, is a very strange looking animal. It appears to have been made from the spare parts of other animals. It has a bill like a duck, a beaver-like tail, hair like a bear, webbed feet like an otter, claws like a reptile, lays eggs like a turtle, feeds its’ young on milk like a mammal, has spurs like a rooster, and has poison like a snake. I’ll bet God fell off his throne laughing when he first finished putting it together.
