I recently went camping with a few friends of mine, and while out in the woods, I almost got into a fight. What prompted the heated confrontation, was a creature constantly hovering above our heads. It kept on aggressively flying lower and lower toward us in a hostile fashion. I and one of my friends stood up at the exact same time, and we began waving our arms in a slow soothing manner. The creature appeared to accept our peaceful gesture, and it immediately refrained from its attack mode. Both me and my friend wanted to take credit for what happened, until it almost came to blows. Fortunately a park ranger was nearby that saw the entire incident. And he stated in regards to which one of us caused the flying creature to cease from its threatening behavior, it was a clear case of mutual calm bat.
