I remember seeing the strangest call a referee has ever made in a football game. After both teams were lined up and the ball was snapped, a gigantic bird owned by one of the defensive lineman swooped down, grabbed the quarterback, flew away and dropped him on top of a nearby house. After the referee determined who owned the bird and confirmed that quarterback was sitting on the top of a house, the defensive lineman was called for personal fowl/roofing the passer.
