A friend of mine told me that she had lost her sense of taste and smell. She also added that if she was eating some dog food, she wouldn’t know it. In hindsight, I regret putting that statement to the test. Even if she wouldn’t have seen that empty can of dog food in her garbage, she would’ve eventually figured out what I had done, after she couldn’t explain why she spontaneously had animosity toward her pet cat and the mailman.
