My niece who is really smart, regularly goes out of her way to try to make me look uneducated and stupid, because I would consistently answer her questions wrong. But this last time, I was ready for her. She asked me when the War of 1812 took place? History was one of my worst subjects, so I answered “It was in between 1900 and 1970”. I obviously wasn’t sure, but I figured if I gave myself a 70 year window, I think I probably got it right.
