I have a friend of mine that’s a drummer. No matter where he goes, he takes his drumsticks, because he likes playing them on all objects, enjoying the various sounds. He made a big mistake doing this at a construction site while playing on some cinder blocks. For some reason, the pitch he was playing caused a large stack of cinder blocks to fall on him and nearly crush him to death. He told me he had a similar experience at another construction site, and the sound the cinderblocks made as they piled up on top of him, hit him like a “tone” of bricks.
