U.S. & World History – A very popular game has deviated considerably from its original intent. How it was initially played, was each player had to guess the type of floating vessel such as a canoe, a rowboat, or an aircraft carrier his opponent was thinking of, and then guess the body of water it was in, such as a river, ocean, lake, etc. The type of vessel and body of water that was guessed the most often, is how the game got it’s name. The spelling has changed, but the current pronunciation remains the same, and it’s still called “Yacht-Sea”.
