U.S. & World History – Peter Benchley who wrote the novel “Jaws” that was adapted to one of the most popular movies of all time, has acknowledged that the director Stephen Spielberg altered the script and changed one of the lines, which ultimately enhanced the movie. Benchley’s original idea was to for the three to track down the great white shark, and then kick it to death. And what Roy Scheider was suppose say to Robert Shaw when her first saw the huge great white shark was, “You’re gonna need a bigger boot!”
