COMMENTARY: My position is a resounding yes! Kids are great weapons! What other reason would you want to have these little ingrates? I can’t count the times I told my son inaccurate malicious lies about my ex, just to make myself look good. She still hasn’t completely emotionally recovered from most of them. I know for a fact that she still has nightmares from what I subjected her to in the late 1980’s. I don’t believe in using guns or knives to resolve differences (unless it’s well thought out with an air tight alibi). But using your children (unwittingly) to attack a former spouse, to me is fair game. I used my son regularly and efficiently when he was growing up. He only lives a couple of blocks from me and he hasn’t spoken to me in almost 15 years. He emailed me and said that he has a severe and rare case of laryngitis that flares up anytime he’s near me. The air is really dry out here so I guess that’s possible… I think.
