BREAKING NEWS – Lynwood, California – People driving by a McDonald’s in Lynwood, California, might be baffled by an upside-down sign. The golden arches, typically standing as an M, have been flipped over to become a “W”. But this isn’t a bizarre prank or a careless mistake. The upside-down arches are in “celebration of over eaters everywhere,” a McDonald’s representative told Business Insider in an email. The giant fast food restaurant’s global chief officer Wendy Lewis said in a statement, “We are honoring all of the people that eat here on a daily basis with the ‘W’. And that letter stands for all of the ‘wide wobbly walruses that waddle’ in and out of McDonald’s.”
