Sometimes you can pay a very heavy price for getting drunk, because getting loaded can often affect your decision making. While intoxicated, a friend of mine bought an iPad for $1200 from some guy on the street. When he woke up the next day with a hangover, he was outraged when he realized that his “iPad” was an Etch-A- Sketch. I tried to console him by saying that at least he won’t ever have to worry about the battery running low. My assessment seemed to get him even angrier. Loser.
