BREAKING NEWS – Middletown, New Jersey – A patriotic, pre-game celebration honoring law enforcement and first responders at a high school football game has drawn the ire of the New Jersey chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. Middletown High School South saluted more than 100 police officers and military personnel, and the celebration culminated with teenaged football players and police officers unfurling a massive American flag before singing the national anthem. In a written letter to the school, the ACLU showed their disapproval when they stated in part, “We feel that it is a form of mind control, trying to manipulate teenagers into believing that they should respect both the armed forces and cops. We know that if Hillary gets elected, she’ll put a stop to all of this ridiculous patriotic ‘abide by the law’ nonsense.”
