Susan Herman the president of the ACLU, stated that by Trump not pardoning her, he is violating Clinton’s civil rights. “For the most part, Hillary is in hiding”, said Herman. “And because she is currently afraid to publicly say exactly what she thinks of President Trump for fear of being prosecuted, by not pardoning her, he is suppressing her right to free speech.”
