BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – The Trump campaign has sent a scathing letter to Twitter’s leadership after the platform took the unprecedented step of labeling one of its videos “manipulated media,” saying that under the social media giant’s new standard, Joe Biden’s team has uploaded its own “doctored and deceptively edited” video as recently as last week. Trump campaign rapid response director Andrew Clark stated, “Twitter shouldn’t be an enforcement arm of Joe Biden’s campaign strategy, but if they choose to police every video clip they must hold his own campaign to the same standard.”
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey responded to Clark. “It may appear to be double standards, but in reality, it’s not,” he explained. “Trump is fully aware of exactly what he is posting on Twitter, whereas Biden often has no idea what he’s posting, who he is, or what part of the country the White House is located. Thus I don’t think Biden should he held accountable for his actions, but the people that persuaded him to seek the nomination, should be laying down on a guillotine.”
