BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price urged Afghanistan’s new leaders to form an inclusive government that had women in it.
Price cited a United Nations declaration calling for “an immediate cessation of all hostilities and the establishment, through inclusive negotiations, of a new government that is united, inclusive and representative – including with the full, equal and meaningful participation of women.” He also stated that the Biden Administration wants the Taliban to end the practice of “honor killings” when men are allowed to kill their wives for a variety of reasons, and instead the wife can be roughed only to the point where she wouldn’t require more two days of hospitalization, with no life threatening injuries.
