Ask Blake Picture111

Dear Blake,

I am thirty years old but I find myself really attracted to a co-worker that is almost seventy, which makes him older than my grandfather. I really want to date him, but I don’t know what to do to get his attention. Do you have any suggestions?

Dear Justine,

What you feel is quite common, and it happens to most women during their life. But to be more practical, I must ask you this. Are you crazy?!?! If you married that fossil today and had a baby nine months from now, by the time your ill-conceived child turns 18, your “husband” may not be able to see or hear him. It’s even possible that he may not have the ability to have kids because he forgot how they are “manufactured”. I have always thought that May-December marriages happen because either both of them are desperate, or the oldest one is rich. I think you should date men your own age, and stay away from antiques! And even if he’s currently physically in good shape, time will ravage him like it does everyone else, because even a luscious grape will eventually turn into a raisin. I hope this helps.
