BREAKING NEWS – Meridian, Mississippi – A giant sinkhole about 50-feet wide opened up in an IHOP parking lot in Mississippi, swallowing at least 14 vehicles, officials said. “We received a call of vehicles going through the pavement at the IHOP in Meridian,” Patrol Lieutenant Rita Jack with Meridian Police told NBC News. After careful analysis by geologist and street repairman, they concluded that damages was causes by humans. Jack stated at a press conference that, “The cause of the collapse is due to the amount of pressure that was regularly placed on the ground by customers leaving IHop. As they daily waddled from the restaurant with their bacon and biscuit filled bellies, the earth in the parking lot simply couldn’t handle the additional pounds per square inch. This is math and science 101 and numbers don’t lie.”
