BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Hillary Clinton, in an otherwise friendly recent interview on MSNBC, struggled to answer the question when asked by host Chris Matthews. At first, the Democratic presidential front-runner seemed to suggest the question should be directed at her rival in the race, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist.
“You see, I’m asking you,” Matthews countered.
Clinton simply replied, “I’m not one.”
Later that same day apparently after giving it a lot of thought. She gave a more detailed response. “Socialism is close to communism”, she explained. “However, I do believe that when people are burnt out from seeking employment, the government should be obligated to take care of them and their children for a couple of generations, until the drive to succeed has returned to someone eventually in their family tree.”
