BREAKING NEWS – Fort Leavenworth, Kansas – The Obama administration is emptying the military’s Guantánamo Bay detention facility of avowed terrorists captured fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq, but several American service members languish in the Fort Leavenworth federal prison for actions on those same battlefields that their supporters say merit clemency, if not gratitude. President Obama responded by the criticism by stating during a press conference, “Murderous terrorists deserve a second chance, because many of them are simply misguided in their ideology, and should be released into society and given an opportunity to become decent productive people. However I have higher standards for the U.S. military, and I have no problem with locking them up for lesser offenses and throwing away the key.”
