BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel says he has spoken to President-elect Donald Trump by telephone and mentioned Chicago’s status as a sanctuary city for immigrants. Trump is threatening to cut off federal funding to the Windy City which is approximately $1.5 billion annually, if they don’t comply with federal laws. Emanuel said if Trump cuts funding, he can easily make it up by raising taxes city wide on the guns and bullets sold daily. “I am not worried about Donald Trump’s empty threats,” he explained. “As long as we have homeowners that want to protect their lives and property, plus a growing amount of inner city gangs, revenue from local firearms should see us through this possible financial crisis.”
