BREAKING NEWS – Minneapolis, Minnesota – According to Guinness World Records, the quietest place on earth, is an anechoic chamber at Orfield Laboratories in Minnesota. It is so silent, that the background noise measured is actually negative decibels, -9.4 dBA. Steven Orfield, the lab’s founder, stated, “you’ll hear your heart beating, sometimes you can hear your lungs, and you’ll hear your stomach gurgling loudly. In the anechoic chamber, you become the sound.” He further added, “The only place that was close to this level of silence, was in the Javits Center on election night last November, after Donald Trump took the lead over Hillary Clinton for good.”
