BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Former NBC “Today” host Matt Lauer files a $100 million lawsuit against CBS. In the court papers, Lauer alleges his well publicized behavior that caused his recent termination from NBC, was due to the negative influences on his life from hanging around fellow journalist and best friend Charlie Rose. Through his attorney Lauer stated, “CBS knew what kind of monster Rose is and was, yet they didn’t warn me against embracing his lurid and lewd habits. Now the man who’s style and tactics on dealing with women that I have admired over the years, has destroyed my career. I am looking forward to my day in court regarding this lawsuit, and I’m also willing to testify against Rose on behalf of CBS, for a reasonable fee.”
