BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s investment in upstart sports drink brand BodyArmor spiked in value after Coca-Cola acquired a significant stake in the company this week. Bryant is one of BodyArmor’s largest stakeholders after making a series of investments that amounted to $6 million. Based on the valuation established by Coca-Cola’s investment in the company, Bryant’s stake is now worth about $200 million, ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. “According to a business insider, Kobe plans on creating a sports drink named after his style of play when he was in the NBA,” said Rovell. “According to my sources, it will be in five different flavors, and it will be called “Don’t Ever Pass The Ball”.
