BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – A White House reporter for CNN was forced to issue a public apology on after some of her old tweets, containing gay slurs, resurfaced. “When I was in college, I used ignorant language in a few tweets to my friends,” wrote Kaitlan Collins on Twitter. “It was immature but it doesn’t represent the way I feel at all. I regret it and apologize.” The tweets in question were posted by Collins in 2011. She joined CNN in June 2017. “Idk if I wanna room with a lesbian,” the reporter said in one post. She used the word “fag” in another. She also apologized to blacks for using the “n” word in quite a few times in her deleted tweets. “I have evolved as a person over the years,” explained Collins. “Now I rarely uses the ‘n’ word toward blacks, because they don’t get me nearly as angry as they use to.”
