BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – As President Trump faces media scrutiny over a phone call he held with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said he may seek to withhold funds from the intelligence community unless they disclose the full contents of the conversation. Schiff, who serves as the House Intel Committee chairman, appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union”, where host Jake Tapper asked if Schiff would be willing to put the nation at risk to get to the bottom of the cryptic report.

“Of course I will put the nation at risk in order to bring Trump down!” Schiff emphatically answered. “After I, and many other democrats were humiliating by getting our Russian collusion allegation debunked, we have to do something to restore what little integrity we had before.” He paused as his eyes began to get glossy, and began shedding tears as he looked down. He then choked up as his voice cracked. “I have to get him on something. I haven’t slept for three straight hours since the Mueller Report came out.”

“To insure that this network won’t be accused of trying to assist you publicly on the air,” Tapper said in a somber voice, “tell me what you want us to do, off camera during the next commercial break.”
