BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Bernie Sanders’ former press secretary mocked Joe Biden, calling him “king of the Black people” and asking why he hasn’t “put an end” to riots.
“The way the press talked about him, you’d think one statement from Biden, king of the Black people, could put an end to all this,” Briahna Gray on Twitter. “Wonder why it hasn’t worked.”
Biden responded to the tweet. “First of all, you don’t appear to be supporting me, so you ain’t black,” he began. “But to a certain extent Ms. Gray, you’re right in regards to your other point. Back in 1993, the crime bill that I wrote, got countless blacks tossed into prison for extended periods of time. Obviously I wasn’t a royalty, but I did feel like a king with the power I had back then, over an entire race. However, that was then and this is now. Today, I feel like more like a prince over you people, so over the years, I’ve mellowed.”
