BREAKING NEWS – Baltimore, Maryland – The president of the NAACP declined to endorse the “defund the police” movement that has gained momentum in recent days, after Minneapolis lawmakers announced they have the votes to do just that in their city.
In an interview with The Associated Press this week, NAACP President Derrick Johnson said he backs “the energy behind” the movement, but did not offer explicit support for it.
Joe Biden was troubled by Johnson’s response. “I don’t get it,” the former VP began. “Isn’t he suppose to do whatever powerful democrats like me tell him to do? This is an insulting public display of disobedience! More than likely, he’s another black, that’s not really black, which means he should be impeached from his office! I’m gonna call Maxine Waters to see if she’ll get the ball rolling.”
