BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Former FBI Director James Comey got a fiery response from Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson after sporting a T-shirt calling for more women to be elected into office.
Comey took to social media with a picture of himself wearing a shirt that reads “Elect More Women,” with a message that hints at his support for Joe Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.
The post didn’t sit well with Clinton aide Nick Merrill. “A lot of us tried. You f—ed it up,” Merrill reacted.
Comey responded to Merrill’s comment with another t-shirt, that had writing on the front and the back. On the front it read, “Maybe you shouldn’t have nominated a crook…” and on the back it read “… that’s married to a smooth talking whore.”
