BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Some liberal media commentators predicted that West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin’s vote against President Biden’s Build Back Better plan could very well spell the end of democracy.
“I’ve always said this, Bret: if I can’t go home and explain to the people of West Virginia, I can’t vote for it,” Manchin told guest host Bret Baier. “And I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible. I can’t get there.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., explained how catastrophic he felt Manchin’s decision is.
“Manchin’s refusal to get behind this bill, is proof that the world is going to end soon, I know it,” explained Sanders. “God is going to send plagues, because our liberal agenda endorsed by the Almighty, isn’t getting passed. Soon He will rain down fire and Flintstone. I’m pretty sure that’s somewhere in the bible in one of the three testaments.”
