BREAKING NEWS – Bowie, Maryland – President Biden touched down in Maryland for a last-minute get-out-the-vote rally at Bowie State University, stumping for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wes Moore.
Towards the beginning of his speech, Biden told the mostly Black audience at the historically Black university that – despite them not having the endowments other schools have – they were “just as smart” and “just as bright.”
“You’re just as good as any college in America,” Biden said to the audience that was filled with students. “Just keep in mind, you guys are still lagging behind plenty of white students and all Asians.”
