BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – Los Angelenos are steering clear of riding public transportation as open drug use, violence skyrocket, recent reports find.

Serious crimes, such as aggravated assault and murder on Los Angeles’ trains and buses increased by 24% last year, the Los Angeles Daily News reported. The spike in lawlessness has left many riders unhappy, with LA Metro Safety Officer Gina Osborn reporting last month that the agency had recorded a 99% year-over-year increase in complaints from riders over other passengers using drugs.

“I don’t understand the big deal,” California Congresswoman Maxine Waters stated. “Most of the people that’s riding the public transportation, need the drugs in order to deal with the physical pain of an eventually assault upon them. Not allowing them to deaden some of the excruciation discomfort from being shot or stabbed, is inhuman. Doctors use an anesthesia for that same purpose. I’m just keepin’ it real.”
