While I was trying to sleep at a remote campsite in Yosemite National Park when camping with a friend, a couple in the tent a few yards from ours kept blasting their stereo and refused to turn it down. I then noticed a large bear about thirty yards away licking his chops. I immediately told my friend and we quickly ran to my car.
I felt bad that I didn’t inform that inconsiderate couple next to us. But I felt even worse for throwing a hamburger into their tent as we ran past it.
