The prophet Elijah was a very fair minded person, when he challenged the 450 prophets of Baal to a contest to determine if his God or their god was real according to the 18th chapter of 1st Kings. He made sure that the standards were exactly the same on both sides, as they attempted to summon the “deity” that they worshiped. Even though Elijah won the contest, every witness there acknowledged that he was very reasonable because he objectively leveled the praying field.
