I learned something about mink when I was recently watching the Discovery Channel. These small animals are prey for owls, bobcats, and foxes. The most interesting thing about that is, when they finally catch them, they will slowly eat the inside of a mink first, and save the outside for last because they like gnawing on it for hours. So I guess the cliché is accurate, “patience is a fur chew”.
