As a Christian, it is improper to threaten someone with vengeance, and unfortunately that’s what I was recently guilty of. My best friend and I both really like classical music, so I loaned him a few of my cds and he loaned me a few of his. But I told him sternly to take good care of my property, and do not return them to me damaged. “In other words”, I said, “if you scratch my Bach I’ll scratch yours!”
