A friend of mine who voted for Hillary Clinton, told me it wasn’t fair that she lost the election after winning the popular vote, and he felt that the electoral college should be abolished. I told him if that happened, neither candidate would ever bother campaigning in places that weren’t very populated like Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Hawaii, and all the New England states. And they would focus on Chicago, L.A., New York City, Florida, Texas and maybe a total of 15 states, while ignoring the other 35. He thought about it for a second, and then he offered a solution. His idea was, in a presidential election year, all of the people that live in the least populated states, should move to a large city in one of the most populated states, and after the election they can move back to their previous address, if it’s still available.
