I had a very strange dream last night, and I can remember it in detail. I was standing in front of God, and just a few feet away from, He placed the entire universe. The Almighty said it was a gift from Him to me, all I had to do was walk over grab it, but under one condition. He said I could not approach it wearing raggedy shoes that were falling apart. Puzzled by the comment, I asked Him to explain the stipulation. And He said in His powerful voice, “What would it profit you if you gained the whole world, and lost your soles?” (I wonder if this confirms that God has a sense of humor, or verifies why so many of my friends question my sanity).
