For years, early every morning I would walk for about 40 minutes which totaled around 2.5 miles. But this morning was different. While I was taking my usual long strides, an old man that was probably about 80 came up next to me. I had never seen him before, and he didn’t say “hi” or anything, he just kept his eyes straight ahead. After a couple of moments it felt awkward, so I decided to walk faster. To my surprise, he remained right beside. When I started to jog and then sprint, I got slightly ahead of him, but after only a few seconds, he caught up and was right beside me, and this time he was smiling.
