Last week, the pastor of my church preached about “envy”. He explained how destructive it is, and encouraged everyone to “let it go”. I took his advice and I got with a friend later that day, and we wrote down everything we were envious about and decided to “let it go”. When we finished writing it down, I noticed his list was twice as long as mine… and I was jealous of that! (Yeah, I got issues).
