A friend of mine that lives in northern Michigan, recently got arrested by the FBI. The feds alleged that he lied several times on a loan application to obtain money held by a financial institution, in order to buy some equipment to deal with the aftermath of a blizzard. The U.S. Attorney is charging him with snowbank fraud.
