I used to have a job where I think my boss treated me like I was an idiot, but I was getting back at him and he never knew it. During my 8 hour shift, I was entitled to a 15 minute break after the first 2 hours of working, and a 15 minute break in the last 2 hours. However when the work load was really heavy, he denied me my last 15 minutes and he would cynically say to me, “You can take your 15 minute break once you get home.” I got so tired of he pulling that crap, that sometimes when I got home I took a 20 minute break and sometimes even 25 minutes. If I ever see him again, I would tell him exactly what I did, so then we can establish for sure who the real idiot was.
