My next door neighbor is a millennial, and she can’t even talk for 2 minutes without using the word “whatever” repeatedly, and I find it irritating. Last week I challenged her on her annoying habit, and I bet her $20 that she couldn’t go 10 minutes without say the word “whatever”. Also she’d also lose the bet if she said anything that even remotely sounded like the word “whatever”. She agreed, and we stood there and talked. I could see she was very careful as she spoke, anxious to walk away with the easy cash. After about 19 minutes when she was certain she’d win, I pulled out of a bag, an image of a cow that was carved from a large tree branch.
“What is this?” I asked.
And she lost the bet when she answered, “a wood heifer”.
Stupid millennials!
