According to 1st Kings chapter 18 in the bible, Elijah challenged the 450 prophets of Baal to create two different sacrifices on Mount Carmel. Elijah told the prophets that he would call on his God, and they can call on their god, and who’s ever god destroyed their sacrifice by fire is God. When Elijah called on his God, his sacrifice was completely destroyed by fire from the sky. And when the prophets of Baal saw that their sacrifice was untouched, that’s when they realized, that they were full of bull.
