I was talking to my cousin, explaining to him that it’s easy to remember what president is on the $1 bill, because it’s George Washington the first president. He told me he never thought about it that way, and based on that numeric association he said he’ll always remember it. And when I asked him what paper currency is Abraham Lincoln on, he replied, “It’s the $16 bill, right?” (I decided not to correct him, even though all of my other relatives regular refer to him as an “imbecile”.
