BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – Melissa Etheridge likes to smoke marijuana with her family, she revealed as part of Yahoo’s Weed & the American Family project, previewed by People. The 55-year-old described smoking with her children, Bailey, who is 20, Beckett, who is 18. “Marijuana is much milder than the other stuff we tried when they were growing up,” she explained. “In their youth, I would let them use cocaine until they were in the 8th grade, but only on days when they had tests so they would be more focused. They also used heroine briefly in high school, but they quit after they started to feel self conscience when classmates would stare at their needle scarred arms in gym class.”
